The Windom Economic Development Authority (EDA) Commercial Rehab & Façade Loan Program helps property owners and tenants improve existing commercial buildings through affordable financing. The program offers 0% interest loans from $1,000 to $5,000 for eligible exterior and interior renovations that enhance the appearance, accessibility, safety, and energy efficiency of retail, office, and service-oriented properties within Windom city limits.

Eligible improvements include façade renovations, windows, doors, roofing, signage, lighting, accessibility upgrades, flooring, painting, mechanical systems, and other improvements to public-facing areas. Applicants must provide at least 50% of project costs through private financing or owner investment.

Loans are available year-round on a first-come, first-served basis, with repayment terms of up to three years.
